The Basajaun is a creature that may be found in the forests of the Pyrenees Mountains. Similar to the better known Sasquatch in looks, the Basajaun is a peaceful spirit that often helps protect those that call these forests their home. This breed is prefaced by the word Monte which translates to mountain as a reference to the mountain range these creatures call home. The MonteBasajaun breed is a small, mid-weight breed. It has become popular for its agility in the forest-light enough to easily leap fallen trees but also its surefooted nature in the mountains. This breed, while generally mild mannered, does not sit well. It is well-suited to working and can be quite a nuisance when bored due to its intelligence.
